Class Safety & Legal Disclaimer

This page explains the general safety boundaries for Vibe Dance Fitness classes, Vibe Online sessions, events and movement-based content. It should be read alongside the Terms & Conditions.

Last updated 16 September 2026

Physical activity involves risk

Dance fitness and movement involve physical exertion. Normal participation can include fatigue, increased heart rate, changes in balance and muscular effort. Choose an intensity that is appropriate for you and do not treat an instructor or video as knowing how your body feels.

Before taking part

Consider whether you need advice from an appropriate medical or healthcare professional before participating, particularly if you are pregnant, injured, recovering from illness or surgery, have significant heart, breathing, neurological, joint or balance concerns, experience unexplained dizziness or fainting, or have been advised to limit exercise.

PAR-Q and safety information

For some in-person activities you may be asked to provide readiness, emergency-contact or other safety information. Answer accurately and update Vibe if relevant circumstances change. A form is a safety aid, not a medical assessment or guarantee that activity is risk-free.

During a session

Work within your own limits. Reduce impact, use smaller movements, take breaks or stop whenever you need to. Stop immediately and seek appropriate help if you experience chest pain, severe or unusual shortness of breath, fainting, sudden severe pain, a significant injury, or any symptom that makes continuing unsafe.

Online sessions

For Vibe Online, make sure you have enough clear space, a suitable floor, appropriate footwear where needed, access to water and a device positioned so you are not creating a trip hazard. You are responsible for checking your immediate environment because an online instructor cannot inspect it for you.

Adaptations and accessibility

Vibe encourages adaptation. A lower-impact, seated, smaller or slower version can still be meaningful participation. If you need an accessibility adjustment for an in-person activity, contact us and we will consider reasonable ways to support participation.

No medical or crisis service

Vibe is a movement and wellbeing service. It does not provide medical diagnosis, emergency care, physiotherapy or mental health crisis support. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service.

Legal rights remain

Participation carries ordinary physical-activity risks, but this notice does not attempt to exclude responsibility that the law does not allow us to exclude. Your statutory consumer rights and any legal rights relating to negligence remain unaffected.
